I'm Nicole (she/her), a trauma-informed personal trainer, yoga and group fitness coach with a mission to change our collective relationship to exercise. I'm here to make working out feel more empowered, inclusive and playful and to help you discover ways to move in a safe, effective and fun way.

I never intended to be a teacher, but the path chose me. An avid athlete since childhood, yoga and group fitness classes were initially a way for me to disconnect from my body. I felt very uncomfortable in classes both as an instructor and client which led me to open my own business.

In 2017 I founded Origin House of Fitness in Fort Collins, CO as a safe haven to explore exercise in a mindful and joyful way. Consciously veering off the path of diet culture and fitness for physique, I'm changing the culture of group fitness to include mental health and mindfulness, self-care and empowerment.

I provide live in-person classes and personal training, offer an expansive library of On Demand classes, and teach weekly live classes on Zoom.

In addition to teaching live and virtual group fitness & yoga classes, I also offer private sessions, personal training to individuals & small groups and instructor mentorship for new yoga, pilates & barre fitness teachers.

Private Coaching

This personalized session can help set you up for better success during a group class setting, empower you with the knowledge and confidence to create a home base practice and can be designed as a single session, or reoccurring depending on your desired outcome.

Personal + Small Group Training

These programs are uniquely designed for each individual or small group and meet 2-4 times per week. Workouts are divided into upper and lower body sessions and feature repeating movements and constantly varied accessory work.

Instructor Mentorship

This 4-6 week program is for fitness instructors to fine tune their skills and deepen their knowledge of their disciplines, through personal study and experiential learning under the guidance of an experienced teacher, business owner and mentor.

Class Descriptions


Barre Fitness:
is a low-impact full-body workout utilizing small movements to safely and effectively strengthen your body. This class is inspired by the original Lotte Berk Method, Yoga and Pilates and set to fun upbeat music. Choose from my Classic, Barre Flow or Cardio Barre Fusion classes. View Barre Videos

Yoga:
is a practice that invites us to slow down and explore the ways in which our bodies and breath work and connect. You'll find different types of yoga classes offered including Yin Yoga, Yoga Fusion, Yoga with Weights and Deep Stretch/Myofascial Release. View Yoga Videos

Strength Training:
is a high intensity class that is constantly varied but includes plyometric and circuit training as well as cardio and strength training. Classes require minimal to no equipment, are designed for all levels and modifications are provided. View Strength Videos

Mat Pilates:
is a full body workout that follows a traditional approach and mat routine as designed by Joseph Pilates. Mat work is the foundation of the Pilates Method and incorporates the core principles of control, centering, concentration, breathing, precision and flow. View Pilates Videos
